Muze's Own Geoff Blum Leads Astro's to 7th Striaght Win

Muze’s own Geoff Blum, of the Houston Astros, took Kerry Wood deep Tuesday night in the 11th inning at Wrigley Field to lead the red hot Astros’ to their seventh consecutive win. Sure, it’s certainly a long shot, but Blum and his mates are just 7 _ games behind the Brew Crew from Milwaukee in the NL Wild-Card race. This was Blum’s career-high 14th dinger of the season, stunning the Wrigley faithful, and keeping the glimmer of hope for postseason action still alive. Along with a classic movie line and great t-shirt, I guess we can go ahead and add sending nearly 40,000 stunned Cubs fans home with a loss to Geoff’s list of life greatest pleasures.
