Gladiator… yay or nay?
I’m sure nearly everyone has seen Gladiator, you know, best picture winner of 2000 right? Being part of a company with a culture and community built around the celebration of classic films, it may come as a bit of a surprise that I have avoided it to this day. I am CONSTANTLY ridiculed, shamed, essentially disgraced by everyone else in the company for not taking the time to watch it. It’s gotten to the point now where my refusal continues merely to spite the others who regularly ask every Monday morning, “did you watch it, did you?” I stand firm if my refusal to watch it, but was convinced this morning that if I receive enough feedback and comments insisting that I watch it, I will. There has to be some of you that are in my court, thinking there are much better ways to spend 2 ½ hours on a Saturday. So let me know, where do you stand? If I receive over 30 comments, I promise I will cave and take the time to finally put this issue to rest.

I WAS in that same boat… absolutely REFUSED to watch it until one night I caught a glimpse of it, and then I actually went out and BOUGHT the movie just to watch it. So WATCH IT!!!! you won’t regret it – guaranteed!!!
