Swine Flu continues to raise panic levels surrounding pigs
“It has been decided to immediately start slaughtering all the pigs in Egypt using the full capacity of the country’s slaughterhouses,” Health Minister Hatem el-Gabaly told reporters.

As the panic continues over the Swine Flu the country of Egypt may have just shot to the top of the overreacting list. The slaughtering of anywhere from 300,000 to 350,000 pigs began today with those relying on the pig farming industry in uproar demanding compensation.
We are all paying close attention the spread of this flu, but some are clearly overreacting. There hasn’t been a single case reported in Egypt and now their government is depleting the income of many of its citizens as a “precautionary” step. Less than 200 people have died worldwide and take into consideration that over 36,000 people die every year from guess what? You guessed it, the regular flu.
I’m all for precaution, but lets not panic people. Is slaughtering over a quarter million pigs really necessary at this point? Are we all going to get infected and morph into pigs?
which means that Pork will be on sale because the idiots who live in our country will somehow associate eating pork with getting the flu virus… not even close.
Looks like I will be eating pork for a few weeks!!
