FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Mark Sanchez is hoping lightning strikes twice.

The New York Jets’ rookie quarterback showed up at his news conference Friday wearing a black T-shirt with the word “Wonderboy” printed across the chest, complete with a silver lightning bolt.

That logo, of course, is what appeared on the magical bat of Roy Hobbs, the power-hitting character played by Robert Redford in the 1984 film, “The Natural.”

Sanchez said he has had the shirt for a while and is wearing anything that might bring him good luck in the AFC championship game Sunday against the Colts.

The Jets rallied to beat then-undefeated Indianapolis when the Colts pulled Peyton Manning and other starters in the third quarter in Week 16.
